More Google Easter eggs: Items Hidden in Google Maps
Google loves to hide Easter eggs in the hopes that their users will find them. But Google search isn’t the only place you’ll find Easter eggs. There are many hidden within Google Maps as well.

Here are some of the fun ones, but there are many more hidden if you just take the time to look around and have some fun.
KFC Man
Go to maps.google.com. Then, with satellite view on, click on get directions, and enter the following coordinates: (start address) 37.646362,-115.751004 and (end address) 37.646566, -115.750982. Then gaze upon the glory of the KFC man, located in Nevada, just north of Las Vegas.
Firefox Logo
Another interesting Easter egg is the Firefox logo. Go to Google Maps, then type in 45° 7'25.87"N 123° 6'48.97"W into the search bar. Zoom in, and you’ll see the Firefox logo.
Kayak or Jet Ski Across the Ocean
Google aims to get you anywhere you want to go, even if that place is only accessible by a marine vehicle, as evidenced by several sets of directions which tell you to kayak or jet ski across the pacific ocean.
California to Japan
Try to get directions from California to Japan. At several points throughout the journey – steps 21 and 34 – your directions will say kayak across the Pacific Ocean.
China to Japan
If you use Google Maps to get directions from China to Japan, you will be directed to jet ski across the Pacific Ocean in step 35.
These are just a few of the fun things you can see and do in Google Maps. And while Google Easter eggs are typically only available for small period of time (a year or two), they are always coming up with newer, crazier eggs to hide. So stay vigilant, and keep on the lookout for hidden eggs.
